Nationals from the following are referred to as EEA Nationals in this guidance
Austria, Belgium, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, The Netherlands, United Kingdom (until 31st December 2020), Bulgaria & Romania + Iceland, Liechtenstein, and Norway
These rules aim to enable goods, services, capital, and persons to move freely about the EEA in an open and competitive environment, a concept referred to as the four freedoms.
Switzerland is not a member of the EEA but has signed an agreement which allows its’ citizens the same freedom of movement rights as EEA Nationals
