Natural Justice

All Courts must follow the requirements to allow for natural justice.

Natural Justice is defined as follows

1.  Right to be heard

To have a chance to state your case (prosecution and defence)

2.  Right to Rebuttal 

 Ability to disprove a charge or claim especially by offering opposing evidence

3.  Right of Assistance 

 Legal assistance - own or Court solicitor

McKenzies Friend  - prompt, take notes, give quiet advice - not a right but a concession

4.  Right to Adjournment 

5.  Avoidance of Bias

6.  Equal Standing 

 All of the above = NATURAL JUSTICE
